Gracie Winkloppel, often called Grace Wexler is a interior designer, age 42. Married for 22 years. She lives with her husband, Jake Wexler, and daughters Angela and Turtle Wexler in apartment 3D in Sunset Towers. Her favorite daughter is, Angela because she is more obedient then Turtle. Grace had a sinking sensation that the hospital mixed up the babies when Turtle was born. Grace has tousled hair, is warm and sinful, kinds of reminds me of actor, dancer, Julianne Hough. Grace's maiden name is Windkloppel. Same as Crow's last name. In the Westing's game, she was paired up with restaurateur, Mr.Hoo. She worked with him to try to figure out their clues: Fruited Purple Waves For Sea, Grace thinks he eats to much while, Mr.Hoo thinks she smokes to much. Grace thinks the clues must have something to do with purple waves because the Sandy said something about it. She also thinks the murder must live in for sea but, Mr Hoo said if Sam Westing wanted to say 4C he would have wrote a 4 and a C and anyways Mr. Hoo lives their. At the end, they really didn't get along, Mr. Hoo called her a bigot. Grace wanted to find out everybody's clues so she can win the grand prize of a vast fortune but, Turtle didn't tell her any of her clues, not one. She said, "she was hurt." Her husband calls her" Gracie". Grace thinks Gracie Winkloppel is an ugly name. Grace's position in the Westing game is a heiress and the second time is a restaurateur. Grace and Mr.Hoo finally figured out their clues when Jake Wexler came to help them. He said instead of Purple Waves, Purple Fruited, plum or grape, and take out 'ed" from fruited and you get,"Ed Plum". When her 2 daughters had 4 bombs set off in Sunset Towers, Barney Northrup (owner of Sunset Towers) called Ms. and Mr. Wexler "irresponsible". One day, all the heiress returned to the Westing House to delivery their answer, Mr. Hoo and Grace's answer was, E.J Plum the lawyer. They didn't win thought Flora Bambuch and Turtle Wexler won.
In Grace's later years, she went into the restaurant business, she owns a bushiness called, "Hoo's On First" it was a huge success. Grace was the new owner, and served free meals to the sports figures who came to town, and everybody wanted to eat where the sports players ate. A autographed picture signed by Brewers, Packers, and Bucks, behind is signed by Doug Hoo "To Grace W. Wexler, who serves the number-one food in town." Grace was absolutely a lucky women, a respected one, wife of a state official and mother of cleverest kid in the world. Later on, Grace owned a chain of 5 restaurants, "Hoo's On First, Hoo's On Second, Hoo's On Third, Hoo's On Fourth, and Hoo's On Fifth."She later went into "Hoo's On Tenth". Her daughter said she should cut lose but, she was stubborn as ever. She probably went their because its near Madison, next to Jake. Her husband is now the state commissioner.
